Tubes
Tubes are more suitable for structural applications. Moreover, they are not required to have the standard cylindrical shapes, but they can also come in rectangles and be customized.

The pipes are measured more with the nominal pipe diameter and wall thickness. At the same time, nominal diameter is usually a measurement of the pipes in non-specific terms.
