Hirose FPC 0.3mm FPC ZIF Connectors with Top and Bottom Contact - FH39 Series FH39 series SMT horizontal staggered row mount FPC ZIF connectors with a 0.3mm contact pitch that can support FPC with a standard thickness of 0.2mm. These 0.3mm FPC SMT ZIF connectors have a low profile 1.2mm above board design and top and bottom spring loaded contact points. A rotational finger operated back-flip actuator is included on these FPC ZIF connectors which allows easy insertion and reliable connection of the FPC and negates the need for side latches allowing connectors to be mounted side by side. The body of these FH39 series 0.3mm FPC ZIF connectors is made from beige UL94V-0 LCP with a solid bottom surface (no contact exposure) enabling the FPC connector to be mounted over conductive traces on the PCB and has entry chamfers on all sides of the insertion slot to aid insertion and positioning of the FPC. Hirose FH28 Series 0.5 mm FPC/FFC Connectors FH28 0.5 mm ZIF (zero insertion force) FPC/FFC connectors with a robust, ruggedized design. These FH28 FPC/FFC connectors have a robust flip lock actuator which is supported either end of the connector by reinforced metal fittings. The actuator is held down by a hook at each contact point along its whole length ensuring a secure connection and preventing the actuator from disengaging. When the actuator is fully closed, it produces a tactile click to confirm it is firmly locked in place. These FH28 FPC/FFC connectors feature side catches for use with tabbed FPC. The positioning tabs on the FPC slot inside these catches allowing it to be accurately aligned and positioned. When the actuator is locked down the tabs act as a strain relief and increase the retention force of the FPC. These FH28 FPC/FFC connectors can also be used with straight sided or non-tabbed FPC. The bottom of these FPC/FFC connectors is solid and the contacts are not exposed allowing the connector to be mounted over conductive traces on the PCB.
