Wire Housings & Plugs

What are wire housings and plugs?

Wire Housings & Plugs, referred to as crimp housings, offer a way out for connectors to be connected; at the time, this equipment is mounted onto a printed circuit board. Printed circuit board connectors are typically installed to connect many printed circuit boards with each other, also making sure that a cable is connected to a printed circuit board.

What are wire plugs called?

An electrical connection is usually created by using an electrical connector, also known as an electromechanical device; typically, the connections are made between two or more parts within the electrical circuit and can be created between different electrical circuits; by doing so, they are integrated as a larger circuit.

How do Wire Housings & Plugs work?

Crimp housings are molded according to the type of PCB connector they are designed to fit. The Crimp housing is being used in accordance with the design the printed circuit board is fitted with. The crimp housing is often configured so that the connector is mounted onto the printed circuit board. Hence these housing ensure a strong level of security to persist a secure connection. With the printed circuit board connector housing incorporating terminals for the PCB connector connections, with that being stated, you are allowed to let the flow of electricity.

Types of Wire Housings & Plugs

The variation in the printed circuit board connector housings generates the number of connections that this system accommodates. The range could vary from one to several; the connection is made by using various materials based on the range of security systems required for making a robust connection.
