What are RF Attenuators?

RF attenuators function like resistors since they are typically designed to mitigate the signal leveling embedded in radio frequency applications and radio frequency circuits. Types of RF Attenuators

An RF attenuator is classified into three types:

Switched Attenuators - have embedded high-quality switches that ensure and enable varying levels of attenuation.
Fixed Attenuators - In cases when specified attenuation levels are required, they offer a constant value.
Variable Attenuators - are installed if great work is needed to continuously change the level of a signal.

RF Composition
