842AR is a conductive coating that consists of a one-part, solvent-based acrylic lacquer, pigmented with an extremely conductive silver flake. It is smooth, hard, and abrasion resistant. It can be easily applied by brush or spray. It has a quick dry time, with no heat cure necessary. It adheres strongly to most injection-molded plastics, such as ABS, PBT and PVA. It provides superior high frequency shielding. It also provides strong corrosion resistance, and is suitable for use in marine environments. 842AR is designed to provide a conductive coating for the interior of plastic electronic enclosures that suppresses EMI/RFI emissions. It excels when the highest level of shielding is required. Also, its thin minimum layer height makes it suitable for board level applications. Provides superior EMI/RFI shielding over a broad frequency range Resistivity of 7.6 x 10-5 ohm•cm Can be applied very thin, 0.2 mil minimum coating thickness Mild solvent system, and safe on polystyrenes HAP free does not contain toluene, xylene, or MEK.

MG Chemicals Super Shield 843AR Conductive Coatings MG Chemicals 843AR super shield is a high conductive silver coated copper lacquer for giving you long-term protection from EMI/RFI. The quick drying acrylic conductive lacquer reduces the loss of metallisation through rubbing. Once cured the 843AR coating becomes hard and smooth. Features and Benefits • Tough and durable • Low surface resistance • Low VOCs • Quick drying • No heat cure required • High Conductivity - Low Surface resistivity of 0.21 Ω/sq for one coat (1.0 mil) Typical Applications • Repairing damage to existing shielding • Manufacturing of Sensors, medical equipment, electric vehicles, mobile phones, electric guitars and many more • To provide electric continuity for your circuits Note 843AR is not compatible with water, oil and greasy flux residue. Always clean the surface to be coated before using. More details on using and application can be found on the technical datasheet. Caution When you want to keep the original surface intact, use with care. Conductive Paint
