DSX 80, 80 W, 24 V Desoldering Iron with Solder Extraction Tube.
From Weller this is the DSX80 Solder Extraction desoldering iron complete with an integrated extraction tube assisting in removing the solder from where you are working. The solder extraction tube will not affect the solder temperature at the solder tip therefore not reduce the required outcome of the solder work. The extraction tube is fitted over the solder tip plus is easy to remove and replace plus, the unit is fitted with a micro finger switch to control the suction and vacuum removal of solder. The suction switch is fitted on the handle of the tool. An integrated Kapton ribbon allows the safe changing of the solder extraction tube. The solder tips are easy to change as they are threadless and easily locked in place by a quick quarter turn. Compatible with WT soldering stations the desoldering iron heat to the required temperature, 50°C to 450°C within 50 seconds with 80 W of power and a voltage of 24 V.
