MCP19111 Digitally Enhanced Power Analogue Controller with Integrated Synchronous Driver Evaluation Board The MCP19111 is a Digitally Enhanced Power Analogue Controller with Integrated Synchronous Driver. It combines a pure-analogue PWM controller with a supervisory microcontroller making it a fast, cost-effective, and configurable power conversion solution. The MCP19111 is ideal for standard power conversion, LED drivers, and battery charging applications. The MCP19111 Evaluation Board demonstrates how the MCP19111 device operates in a synchronous buck topology over a wide input voltage and load range. Nearly all operational and control system parameters are programmable by utilising the integrated PIC microcontroller core. MPLAB X IDE can be used in conjunction with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) plug-in to easily configure the MCP19111. Alternatively, the user can program the MCP19111 using their own firmware, tailoring it to their application. The evaluation board contains headers for ICSP™ (In-Circuit Serial Programming™) as well as I²C communication, pull-up and pull-down resistor pads and test point pads on each GPIO pin, and two push buttons for system development. Adafruit Non-Latching Mini Relay FeatherWing FeatherWings add specific functionality to your Feather development board. They fit directly on top of your Feather using stacking header pins. The non-latching mini relay FeatherWing gives you control over power so you can now turn on and off various devices including lamps, fans, solenoids. In fact, you can switch power for many small appliances that run on up to 250 V ac but you need check the amount of power – 60 W or less. The non-latching relay, requires a single control pin, the SET pin. When set to high, the relay switches and a red LED lights. If power is lost then the relay will go back open. In terms of how much power, you can switch up to 2A of resistive current at up to 30 V dc or 40 V ac. At 110 V dc, switch up to 0.3A, at 120 V ac up to 0.5 A, and at 250 V ac you can switch up to 0.6A. Check the datasheet for more details. A 3-pin terminal block is supplied with this FeatherWing to wire it up with the device you are controlling and some light soldering is required.
