What are Anemometers?
An anemometer is equipment that is employed to calculate the velocity of wind in a common weather station device. An accurate wind speed measurement can be made with an anemometer, which can also offer data for numerous metrics. The convenient type of anemometer that is mounted on a pole and is comprised of a set of two, three, or four spinning cups that move in the wind. As the winds become severe, this cup's formation spins quickly, and this anemometer observes the speed of the airflow and outbound it as a digital readout.
These are the special types of equipment that are called propeller or windmill devices. Like cup anemometers, they make use of wind blades that revolve instead of cups. Some manuals, also known as handheld propeller anemometers, are commonly called impeller wind monitors since their propeller blades are secured by a housing unit to protect your hand.

A hot-wire anemometer is frequently designed for handheld use and measures the amount of cooling caused by airflow after heating a thin wire to a certain temperature. Thermal Anemometers with Velocity/Temperature Profiling
These are found with the smallest sensor that measures both speed and temperature. They are typically employed in wind tunnels for circuit board and heat sink analysis.
High-frequency sound and is used by professional-grade to estimate wind speed. Two of the three sound transmitter and receiver pairs are placed perpendicularly to one another. Electronic circuitry built into each transmitter and receiver tracks the amount of time it takes for sound to travel between them. The circuits gauge the speed differences between the beams and utilize that information to determine how quickly the wind is blowing.
