Vibration Meters

What are Vibration Meters?

Vibration meters are equipment employed to measure vibrations and oscillations in embedded applications and configure them to resolve to troubleshoot faster. These meters are potential for the integration of diagnosis, severity, and any amendment recommendations. Mechanical problems are a constant concern in a production setting because any downtime will prevent additional work from being done. Without any prior machine history, vibration devices keep an eye on the production machinery to make sure everything is operating as it should be. Any vibration meter may measure a number of factors, including vibration displacement, acceleration, and velocity.

What are the benefits of a Vibration Meter?

  • Storing Measurements - vibration devices are movable devices that can record measurements for post-analysis. The same features as a data logger are being used to preserve and record measurements.
  • Visual Feedback - Some sorts of vibration equipment have an easy-to-read LCD screen for easy-to-read measurements. In addition, it is a quality system for monitoring during testing.
  • Listening - Several types of vibration components ensure the user listens to any vibration while testing for faults.

Types of Vibration Meters

Depending on the measurement needed, a number of vibration devices are available to meet a wide range of applications. Vibration devices use the following parameters for their measurements:

  • Acceleration
  • Velocity (Speed)
  • Displacement

Fluke Connect 805 Vibration Meter Fluke 805 vibration meter measures overall machine vibrations, bearing vibrations and temperature simultaneously. In order to ensure measurement repeatability, the device makes use of an innovative sensor that checks the force applied to the tip before the vibration measurement starts. The overall vibrations levels are compared to pre programmed alarm levels and machine condition is provided in four stages. Bearing condition is assessed automatically with crest factor plus parameter. With the use of this parameter it is not needed to know the shaft diameter and rotational speed of the bearing, neither the bearing class. Temperature measurements are conducted touchless with an infrared sensor. All measured values can be stored and exported to an MS Excel template to create trend plots that help to predict the machine- and bearing condition The unit has an audio out for listening to machine noise and a LED light torch to make dark measurement spots visible. • Sensor tip design minimises measurement variations • Low & high frequency ranges • USB connection enables data export to Excel • Trending in Excel using built-in templates • Overall vibration measurement (10 Hz to 1,000 Hz) • Colored lighting system indicates pressure needed to be take measurements • Memory: Up to 3500 measurements • Operating temperature: -20 → 50°C What makes the Fluke 805 the most reliable vibration screening device available? • Innovative sensor and sensor tip design helps minimize measurement variations caused by device angle or contact pressure • Four-level severity scale assesses urgency of problems for overall vibration and bearing condition • Exportable data vi...

FLUKE-805 FC/805 ES, Fluke

FLUKE-805 FC/805 ES, Fluke

The Fluke 805 FC Vibration Meter is a reliable vibration screening device available for frontline mechanical troubleshooting teams that need repeatable, severity-scaled readings of overall vibration, bearing health and machine health. Manage and monitor workflow for better maintenance results Using the Fluke Connect Mobile App it’s easy to manage your vibration screening workflow. Integrated machine profile functionality allows you to setup machine profiles using the app and then push them directly to your 805 FC Vibration Meter. Users can then use the list of machine profiles to create work orders, and develop route based maintenance schedules which can be dynamically sent to technicians in field, helping to ensure the proper focus on critical assets. Once a machine is tested, the 805 FC communicates the results directly to the app and associates them with the proper profile and route. This data can easily be shared between teams, so you can make better maintenance decisions. The Fluke 805ES is an external vibration sensor that is ideal in situations for which it is either difficult or impractical to use the onboard vibration sensor tip of the 805 Vibration Meter.
