MH Connectors Metalized Plastic Hoods, MHDPPK-M Series A range of Metalized Plastic Hoods from the MH Connectors MHDPPK-M Series. These Top Entry Metalized Hoods are suitable for any common Sub-D connector. The design of these Metalized Plastic Hoods uses a Quick-Snap locking system which is Re-openable. The ABS shell material used for these Metalized Plastic Hoods is UL 94V-0 rated with Nickel over Copper plating and is recyclable. Two ABS grommet inserts are supplied to suit various cable diameters up to a maximum of 11.5 mm. Quick-Snap Locking system Jackscrews are UNC 4-40, zinc plated steel with plastic knob Cable Clamp Screws are zinc plated steel Operating Temperature Range -55 °C to +110 °C

The mating part of the contacts in these D-Sub MHDPPK-SLIM Series Kits are Gold plated with the Solder Bucket terminations being Tin plated. The MHDPPK-SLIM Series backshells have a Quick-Lock system that can be re-opened and are suitable for any common D-Sub connector. Cable with upto 11.5 mm outside diameter can be accommodated by the MHDPPK-SLIM Series backshell.
