Types of DACs 

There are two types or methods used in D2ACs, that is provided in detail below:

Binary Weighted Resistor DAC

Using a binary-weighted digital-to-analog converter, a digital binary number is transformed into an analog output signal proportional to the digital number's value. BWR DACs is specifically designed for converting a digital binary source code into an analog output using a binary-weighted digital-to-analog converter.

R-2R Ladder DAC

R-2R DAC is an electronic component that converts the digital waveform into analog output signals. It uses two accurate resistors that convert digital data into an analog waveform. In addition, A parallel digital symbol or word is instantly converted into an analogue voltage using the R-2R resistor ladder network. Using a binary weighted digital-to-analog converter, a digital binary number is transformed into an analogue output signal that is proportionate to the digital number's value.

Purposes of DACs

D2ACs are electronic devices that convert digitally stored information into analog form. These devices transform digitally kept information from a computer, smartphone, iPod, or more electronic devices to analog data, such as stored pictures that we can see in analog form using a display device or a stored voice clip that we can hear using speakers or headphones.

What are DACs used for?

Digital-to-analog (A2DCs) are electronic components mainly designed to convert digital data into analog output. An example of a DAC transformation is when a stored audio file is played on the computer; a DAC converts the digital input to an analog output so that your headphone or speaker can then produce the sound in analog form, and the user can hear the digital data converted into analog output.
