The TE Connectivity PCB edge connector is a dual edge connector that provides daughter card connectivity solutions to a motherboard. This through-hole mount female connector features 2 rows, a straight orientation, and a rated voltage of 400 Vac. It has a minimum operating temperature of -55°C and a current rating of 3 A. Moreover, the edge card connector features gold-plated contacts, a bifurcated cantilever design, and electrical reliability. It also has integrated keying slots within the card slots to insert keying plugs. In addition, bespoke connectors are extensively used in DC-to-DC converters, grade card extenders (industrial), and related cost-effect input/output applications.
